Collar Factory Video Contest

Win Cash, Collars, and Glory!

Have you been eyeing a Collar Factory collar, but don't quite have the pocket money? Are you tempted by the glory of having a high-ranked YouTube video? Do you have a webcam, a camera phone, or a friend with a video recorder? Now is your chance to win collars, cash, and glory through the Collar Factory video contest!

Make a video of your collar rant, collar song, collar scene, collar documentary, or collar skit. Post any video featuring a collar on YouTube, get ranked, and you could win cash, gift certificates, and an honored place on our site.

Here's how to enter:

1. Use a collar. Your video must include an actual collar. However, if you're waiting to get your sweet winnings before you go shopping, don't worry: the collar in your video does NOT have to be made by Collar Factory.
2. Give us a plug. Our URL, "www.collarfactory.com," must appear visually in your video.
3. Keep 'em on. Please help us keep this contest PG-13 and completely legal by showing NO NUDITY.
4. Post your video on YouTube. Make sure to tag it with "collar" and "factory," and then submit it to the Collar Factory group.
5. Distribute freely. You are 100% free to use your video in your portfolio, on your resume, on your personal sites, and whenever and wherever you like. You should be proud of your work, and we want you to show it off. We reserve the right to do the same: we will reuse contest videos on our site and in advertisements.

How will you pick the winners?

1. To win or place, your video must have at least 50 YouTube ratings.
2. The viewers decide. We'll pick winners based on the highest average score.

What are the deadlines?

On September 15, 2007, we'll start tallying votes. You may still enter your video after this time. On October 15, 2007, voting will close. We'll announce a winner before Halloween.

What do I get if I win?

First Prize: Your choice of a $150 CF gift certificate, or $100 cash deposited to your PayPal account. We'll embed the winning video on our welcome page and our MySpace page for a month, we'll link to you permanently, and we'll brag about you all over the place. And don't forget: a "winning video" is a great addition to a film portfolio or college application.

Second Prize: A $75 CF gift certificate (roughly enough for two simple collars, a collar and cuffs, or one elaborate collar). The second place winner will get the added honor of having their video displayed on the collarfactory.com forums.

Third Prize: A $35 CF gift certificate (roughly enough for one collar). The third place video will also be displayed on the collarfactory.com forums.
